"Who am I, anyway" Spiel

Everyday we are faced with questions and concerns about who we are and what we want to be for the rest of our lives. There is no way to be original anymore, nor can we sum up our dreams and aspirations in five minutes time which we are given to make a "lasting impression."

Who wants to know who we are, anyway?

We seek jobs and have to prove ourselves to employers daily. We are asked who we are by future lovers, current friends and colleagues. The question isn't who we are, it's what we want to prove to others. It's not where we have been, but what our past has brought us and what our history has given us to benefit the needs of strangers.

Now, who am I?

My name is Franziska and I am 19 years of age. I'm a sophomore at Michigan State University studying Communication and hopefully specializing in Public Relations. I know that my favorite actress is Jennifer Anniston and that I like to sleep diagonally with multiple blankets and pillows. I work in retail and I absolutely love giving customer service and using touch screen computers.
Does this define me? No.

What I didn't mention is that I'm also from Germany and moved to Michigan seven years ago when I was in middle school and learned English and the American customs that way. I am not defined by that either, but it definitely made me versatile.

My favorite color is blue and I have always loved the number five. I like the way it's spelled and pronounced in every language that I know of.
Wearing high heels makes me feel powerful which also supports my dominating personality. I like to lead and I like to know and gain information- not science though.  When I study, I use notecards and I plan my entire life away in my planner, which also includes reading every chapter assigned in a college class. Call me a nerd all you want, but I call it "being prepared."
I will give you a piece of my mind if I feel the need to, and I will always try my best to recover my face and look composed in public, like a lady should.

I plan on becoming famous and working for Warner Brothers. I want to plan red carpet events and especially walk on them. I would love for paparazzi's to follow me because I have a story to tell. If you want my attention, let me know- I don't mind.

I am full of myself and cocky, but I am always trying to work on myself- Not sure if that makes it any better though, but I guess it's better than nothing. At least I don't mind it.

Here's onto many more
